This is where ex-WSPS students meet up with old schoolmates & have fun together through working on projects aimed at helping the school(:
& of course, our superb events held by the Alumni Committee themselves :D

The respective subcommittees are:
Functions:
•Plans venue, date, time & other details of events.
•In charge of decoration of venue (if needed)
•Comes up with ideas for genre of events.
•In charge of backstage & AVA.
If you are good at managing sound systems,lighting, or a wonderful decorator, join us!
Welfare:
•Attends to the Alumni’s needs
•In charge of answering emails.
•In charge of bonding (e.g. birthdays, camps)
•Plans for Exco Initiation Camp
• Enlists people to help out in WSPS events & CCAs.
If you are VERY enthusiastic, often online & have a lot of contacts, join us!
Publicity:
•Publicises Alumni Events in the form of posters, videos, emails, & other means.
•Draws, paints, creates publicizing material.
•In charge of posting on the Alumni blog.
•Comes up with fresh ideas for publicity.
If you are creative,a photo editing expert or an artist, join us!
Enterprise:
•In charge of fund-raising.
•In charge of stalls.
•In charge of selling items at events.
•Comes up with methods to lower cost & maximise benefits.
•In charge of Sec 1 Registration.
If you have ideas on how to raise funds, love talking, or good at selling stuff, join us!
Also, I am in need of a videographer & photographer :D
Do ensure that you have sufficient time before joining us, because we are looking for quality, not quantity. If you are not able to attend meetings & events most of the time, please reconsider joining us. But if you really have the passion for WSPS, go ahead!

Fund Raising! •
hey im back :D see i told ya i'll update regularly.
okay LOTS of people haven't heard about this blog! pleasepleaseplease spread the word around! & now lets get down to business.
as you all know, the Alumni has just been founded, & be proud we're the first batch of Alumni :DDD naturally, there would be approximately ZERO dollars in our fund, & i really dont want to fire Darren (because there's no need for a treasurer then) xD just joking Darren! haha :D
okay so we're being really nice, because we know you guys aren't that sure about the Alumni yet, whether it'll be a success or not, thus we are NOT, i repeat, NOT collecting funds directly from you.but you gotta realise that the Alumni cannot run on a fund of ZERO dollars, so in order to provide you guys with a fun-filled year, we need to raise funds quick.
& we will need you guys to help out here, not give us money, but help us make the fund-raising event a success.
we have not confirmed the event yet, but i really hope you'll come back to help us out. we need lots of strength, so we need you guys!
after all, think about this: why do you come back to WSPS on certain events? like teachers' day, chinese new year.. why? its because you want to come back & see how the school's doing.
you care about the school, so why not enjoy yourselves helping us out? grab a few ex-classmates & come on over to lend a hand! it might seem tiring & boring, but that's why we need more people! to lighten up the atmosphere & everyone'll have fun(:
the more people, the easier the work, & the more funds we'll get(:

we're planning a movie screening in the next month, & we're hoping we can raise enough at the fund-raising event to be able to do even more for you. just give us one day out of your schedule, provide the strength we need, & you'll enjoy the benefits(:
ohya, & if any of you guys didnt hear about this, there's this competition where the Alumni will come up with a logo design for the WSPS Alumni.draw a nice one, make a nice one & send the design in-$50 bucks to be earned if you win(: go to the WSPS website to download the entry form(:

im stressing this once again, each & every one of you in the Alumni are very important to us, because the more dedicated people we have helping the Alumni to start off in a good way, the better(: im sure most of you stay really near WSPS, so it wouldn't be a problem just walking a few metres to join in the fun((: we're students who are willing to put in a little effort to achieve something big(:
