formed in 2007, we're recruiting passionate members that have graduated from White Sands previously(:
This is where ex-WSPS students meet up with old schoolmates & have fun together through working on projects aimed at helping the school(:
& of course, our superb events held by the Alumni Committee themselves :D

The respective subcommittees are:
Functions:
•Plans venue, date, time & other details of events.
•In charge of decoration of venue (if needed)
•Comes up with ideas for genre of events.
•In charge of backstage & AVA.
If you are good at managing sound systems,lighting, or a wonderful decorator, join us!
Welfare:
•Attends to the Alumni’s needs
•In charge of answering emails.
•In charge of bonding (e.g. birthdays, camps)
•Plans for Exco Initiation Camp
• Enlists people to help out in WSPS events & CCAs.
If you are VERY enthusiastic, often online & have a lot of contacts, join us!
Publicity:
•Publicises Alumni Events in the form of posters, videos, emails, & other means.
•Draws, paints, creates publicizing material.
•In charge of posting on the Alumni blog.
•Comes up with fresh ideas for publicity.
If you are creative,a photo editing expert or an artist, join us!
Enterprise:
•In charge of fund-raising.
•In charge of stalls.
•In charge of selling items at events.
•Comes up with methods to lower cost & maximise benefits.
•In charge of Sec 1 Registration.
If you have ideas on how to raise funds, love talking, or good at selling stuff, join us!
Also, I am in need of a videographer & photographer :D
Do ensure that you have sufficient time before joining us, because we are looking for quality, not quantity. If you are not able to attend meetings & events most of the time, please reconsider joining us. But if you really have the passion for WSPS, go ahead!

The First Step :D •
hello ex-students of White Sands Primary School :DDD
this is your President here, im Wenxin if you guys dont know,
spelled Wenxin, not Wen Xin, PLEASE remember that xD the one whose giant picture is outside on the hall wall :D HAHA that was the me 4 years ago ^^ damn i look really young xD ohwell getting old,^^
i was previously from 6A'04, under Mrs Beverly Peh(: i think she rocks :D
okay id like to thank everyone who voted for me in the second Alumni meeting on 16th March, & i'll be making sure you guys made the right choice(:
yes,everyone's growing up & here we all are, in secondary schools all around Singapore.
surprisingly, i do miss WSPS alot, especially the canteen food^^ better than my current one lah, LOL xD & i miss the WSPS school bell, which still makes me jump when it suddenly rings so loudly^^
& yep, i'll be leading the Alumni along with Samantha, Nuan Ting & Darren as well as Jurizal (havent met him yet but heard he's a hilarious guy^^) in helping out with the school(((:
kay ive heard from most of you, & you guys have the WRONG idea about the Alumni.
you think its just something that wastes your time & effort, because apparently to you the Alumni is just an organization that gives free labour x.X to WSPS.
actually, that is TOTALLY not true-
because the Alumni is more about having fun together with our ex-schoolmates :D
we have a range of plans ready to be carried out, & Mrs Gurung HAS mentioned night-cycling(((: what does night cycling have to do with slogging for WSPS? nothing! lol & yeah if we have enough support from you guys, we'll be able to have camps soon(:
for those of you who got pissed off at the first meeting because it was full house at the AVA room & got "chased out", i can assure you we'll have our meetings in somewhere bigger so that even if a few hundred students wanted to come, they would be able to fit in(:
to the Secondary 3s, i know you guys will be busy with the O's coming & all...but do make an effort to join us for our bigger events in future, or even better, come & join the Alumni Executive Committee because we have around more than 200 members in the Alumni & its gna be a hard time for the 5 of us=X i should know most, if not all of the sec 3s, so it'll be easier for us to work together(((:
as for the rest, you guys will have LOADS of time to come for every meeting, but dont forget your studies as well(: if you guys are agreeable, we can have study sessions too, can exchange notes from different schools(: not too bad eh?^^
what i'll need everyone to do is to publicise for the WSPS Alumni, tell your ex-schoolmates about it, just fill in the form & join us instantly(: to have support from everybody would be the best thing ever, because as they say, the more, the better^^
ideas are of course welcome, of course practical ones that we can carry out(: & if possible we'll try to attend to your wants & needs :D any idea for activities that we can do together? like outings & stuff like that, yep(: you can contact me via email at beaucamisado@gmail.com or just mention it at the next Alumni meeting(:
we'll be posting every announcement here, so do check back regularly for the dates for the next meeting, etc. ^^
we'll make the school recognise us as ex-students who still want to help WSPS shine further even though we've left, & let them see us as people who can provide lots of help for them(: how can 200 wonderful people not be of help to the school? we've got the numbers, we've got the strength(((:
